These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and zeeza.ai (“zeeza”, “we”, “us”) governing your access to and use of the Zeeza.Zeeza.ai websites, apps, and related services (the “Services”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Eligibility & accounts

• You must be 13 or older (or the minimum legal age of digital consent in your region). Users under that age may use Zeeza through a parent/guardian or institution with appropriate consent.

• Provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, law, or academic integrity rules.

2) Educational purpose; no cheating

Zeeza is an educational aid. You agree not to use the Services to cheat, violate exam rules, or submit AI-generated output as your own work where prohibited. You are responsible for how you use outputs and for complying with your school’s or institution’s policies.

3) User content & license

• Your content: You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., text, images, PDFs, audio).

• Your license to us: You grant DVC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, adapt, transform, and display your content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Services (including quality assurance, safety, diagnostics, model evaluation), and to comply with law.

• Institutional uploads: Where your institution provides materials (e.g., curriculum, textbooks, assignments), the institution warrants it has rights to do so and grants DVC the same limited license for service delivery.

4) IP rights; processed documents; infringement

• Processed documents: When the Services transform your uploads (e.g., summarizing a PDF into flashcards), those outputs are generated from your content and/or public knowledge for your personal educational use. You are responsible for ensuring your uploads and your use of outputs do not infringe third-party rights.

• No unlawful copies: Do not upload materials you are not authorized to use (e.g., full textbooks behind paywalls) unless your use is permitted by law (e.g., fair use, classroom exception) or license.

• Our IP: The Services, software, models, interfaces, and brand assets are owned by DVC and licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Services except as permitted by law.

• Copyright complaints: If you believe content accessible via the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal(at)zeeza.ai including: (a) your contact details, (b) description and location (URL/screenshot) of the alleged infringement, (c) proof of ownership/authority, and (d) a good-faith statement of accuracy. We may remove or disable access to contested material and notify the user. Submitting false claims may result in liability.

5) Acceptable use; safety

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, defamatory, or discriminatory content, or personal data of others without a lawful basis.

• Attempt unauthorized access, interfere with or disrupt the Services, bypass rate limits or security, or misuse APIs.

• Use automated means to extract data except as expressly allowed.

• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.
  We may monitor for abuse, apply content filters, throttle usage, or suspend access.

6) Subscriptions, trials, billing, and refunds

• Plans: We offer free and paid plans (e.g., Zeeza Pro) described in-app or on our site. Features/limits may change with notice.

• Auto-renew (iOS/Android): Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal charges occur within 24 hours before period end. Manage or cancel in your device Subscriptions settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchase.

• Web purchases (if available): Managed in your Zeeza account; renew and cancel as described at checkout.

• Refunds: Handled per applicable platform policies and law.

Restore Purchases: A “Restore Purchases” control is provided on the paywall for applicable platforms.

7) Fair use & limits

To maintain quality and control costs, we may enforce fair-use limits (e.g., monthly caps on solves, summaries, flashcards, or quizzes), concurrency limits, or compute throttling. Abuse may lead to reduced access or suspension.

8) Notifications & communications

With your consent where required, we may send in-app, push, or email messages relevant to your use (e.g., product updates, reminders). You can modify preferences in device settings or unsubscribe links. Transactional and legal notices may still be sent.

9) Zeeza Campus (institutions)

For institutional deployments, terms may be supplemented or superseded by an institutional agreement (master services/order form) covering access scope, permitted users, data responsibilities, curriculum mapping, support, and pricing. In case of conflict, the institutional agreement governs that deployment.

10) Third-party services

The Services may interoperate with identity, payment, analytics, messaging, hosting, or AI infrastructure. Your use of those features may be subject to their policies. We select processors under appropriate data-protection terms and instruct them to process data only for the Services.

11) In-app account deletion

You can delete your account via Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We deactivate access promptly and begin deleting personal data within a reasonable period (e.g., up to 30 days), subject to legal retention (e.g., fraud prevention, tax).

12) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DVC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT THEY WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING IMPORTANT RESULTS AND FOR YOUR USE OF OUTPUTS.

13) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DVC AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; your rights may vary.

14) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DVC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your content, (b) your use of the Services, (c) your violation of these Terms or law, or (d) any infringement or misappropriation arising from your uploads or use of outputs.

15) iOS & Android platform terms

• Apple iOS: For iOS users, these Terms incorporate Apple’s Standard EULA. In the event of a conflict regarding iOS app use, the Standard EULA controls. Apple is not responsible for support or warranty beyond what the law requires.

• Google Play: Android users agree to Google Play’s policies in addition to these Terms. Platform billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled via your platform account.

16) Changes; suspension

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (with notice where required). We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

17) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of State of Kuwait, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Courts located in State of Kuwait shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer laws of your residence provide otherwise.

If you prefer arbitration, we can add an arbitration clause with class-action waiver tailored to your jurisdiction.

19) Entire agreement; severability

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, institutional agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and DVC regarding the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.
